International Relations

Reminder to purchase The World Is Flat by Thomas Friedman this weekend.  We are going to begin reading this book next week, so be prepared.  There are three editions of the book.  If you already have one, just use it.  If you don’t have one, purchase the second expanded edition titled The World Is Flat 3.o.  Buy paperback…it’s cheaper!

Phase 3 Due Monday 12/3 - Make a list of states and capitals for the US political map, label the political map, and label all physical features from the US map study list on the physical map.  (Note: you will have to draw all of the features except rivers; river are already drawn)

How is population growth determined?  The average annual percent change in the population, resulting from a surplus (or deficit) of births over deaths and the balance of migrants entering and leaving a country. The rate may be positive or negative.
